Two teacher job fairs will be held in Tempe during the next week.

School district representatives from across the Southwest will hire teachers at Arizona State University's 30th annual Recruiter Round-up, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, in the Wells Fargo Arena on the Tempe campus.

Tempe's three school districts will host a job fair from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday at the Kyrene district office, 8700 S. Kyrene Road.

Both fairs are free and open to all K-12 applicants.

There is high demand for special-education and bilingual-education teachers, but positions will be available in all areas, including school administration and counseling.

Candidates should dress professionally and bring supporting documents and multiple copies of their resume.

For the ASU fair, candidate registration begins at 8 a.m. at the arena's eastern entrance.

A list of districts and positions is available at www.asu.edu/career and is updated daily.
